Well that has been the hottest July we've had for years!! It didn't rain for 3 weeks and it actually felt like we had a REAL summer! :-)
So because of this wonderful heatwave, the excursions have been great fun. We've been to the local beaches at Exmouth and Dawlish, visited the stunning Durdle Door in Dorset, been on lovely boat trips along the River Exe and the River Dart, had a fantastic barbeque and a brilliant walk along the North Devon coast!
So, as with every summer, it's been really busy! But the students have made it so much fun! At the moment, we've got such a variety of nationalities (17 in total!): French, Korean, Italian, Saudi, Swiss, Japanese, Belarussian, Polish, Taiwanese, Greenlandic, Russian, Turkish, and more. The summer is always one of my favourite times at the school because there are so many people from different countries and of different ages and everybody gets on so well together. It makes Exeter Academy such a special place to work and study.
So, if anyone wants to come back and study with us, we still have a few spaces available in August but we're getting busier! If you would like to come, or you have a friend who needs to improve his or her English, please get in touch! We would love to see you all again!
Here are some photos for you to enjoy!!
