Local attractions
Exeter has plenty to do all year round. With a history that pre-dates the arrival of the Romans in AD50 Exeter’s history is rich and long, and this is reflected in its fascinating heritage attractions. Exeter’s location in the heart of Devon means the city is well placed to explore nearby coast and countryside, with good transport links to both.

Creative Moments
Over the years, we have found students like to get creative on the weekends. Exeter and the local area are probably one of the richest areas in England for the arts. Here are some of the Creative Moments we have organised for students. We will can always find a very special studio, kitchen, potters wheel or short course for you.

Sports
You can watch or participate in any sport in Exeter. The city has top tier Rugby and Football clubs with matches on weekends. It has facilities for every sport – some of these are shown below. Just ask and we will arrange for you.

Exeter Golf and Country Club is the longest running golf club in East Devon and is widely regarded as one of the best golf courses in the South West. The 120 acre parkland course has mature trees, tranquil water features, sculpted bunkers, perfectly manicured fairways and nurtured greens.
